Liturgy Ministry
Liturgy Ministry is responsible for the coordination and the
execution of all liturgical and para-liturgical activities of
the Parish and shall be composed of a representative from each
of the liturgical ministries. The ministry shall plan, coordinate
and consult with the Pastor of the parish for all liturgical
celebrations of the St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Each of the
liturgical ministry representatives will be responsible for
scheduling and training the specific ministers they represent.
The Chair of this Ministry shall maintain close liaison with
the Parish Liturgist the Archdiocesan Office of Worship at the
Diocesan Pastoral Center and open communications with all other
ministries, particularly the Spiritual Growth Ministry

Spiritual Growth
The Spiritual Growth Ministry is responsible for promoting
activities, opportunities, and environments in the parish
community that provides for spiritual enrichment and growth.
This Ministry functions specifically to enable spiritual renewals
and vocations awareness. The Chair of the Ministry coordinates
closely with all other Ministries, particularly the Liturgical
Ministry and Parish Liturgist, to insure the congruency between
the liturgical focus and the efforts in Spiritual Growth.

Hospitality and Community Building Ministry
Hospitality and Community Building Ministry is responsible
for development and maintenance of all programs relative to
parish community growth. This Ministry coordinates with the
Facilities Ministry all programs for inventory control, supply,
replenishment and maintenance of the kitchen facility.

Social Concerns Ministry
The mission of the Social Concerns Ministry is to reach
out and respond to those in need in our community, especially
the poor and vulnerable, as well as to answer the call to
support all aspects of Catholic Social Justice teaching:
- Protection of the Life, Dignity and Rights of the Human Person
- Option for the Poor and Vulnerable
- The Dignity of Work and Worker Rights
- Solidarity with All Peoples
- Care for God's Creation
- Support for the Family, Community and Societal Participation

Youth Ministry
Youth Ministry is responsible for providing the youth of
the parish, who are in grades six through twelve, and young
adults with retreats, renewals, min-renewals, social events,
athletic programs, liturgies, prayer experiences, service projects
and parent-youth programs. This Ministry gives overall direction
to the youth ministry programs of the parish, assists in recruiting
and continuing the development of youth ministers, and assists
in the planning and evaluation of youth ministry programs.

Family Life Ministry
Family Life Ministry is responsible for promoting activities
to strengthen families and marriage. It develops programs to
support families, marriage, single parents, divorced, widows
and widowers and the elderly. This Ministry maintains liaison
with other Standing Ministries to develop joint programs to
strengthen family life, including pre-Cana instructions.

Catholic Schools Ministry
Catholic Schools Ministry acts as a liaison between St. Francis
Parish and St. Jude School and St. Elizabeth School. St. Francis
is aligned with St. Jude and St. Elizabeth and our parishioners
can attend these schools for in-parish tuition. The ministry
also coordinates the St. Francis School bus and sponsors fund-raising
activities to support the parish in these efforts.

The Evangelization Ministry
The Evangelization Ministry reaches out in friendship and
love to the inactive Catholics in our community and proclaims
the Good News to those who have no church affiliation. The ministry
maintains close liaison with the Archdiocesan Director of Evangelization
and coordinates activities with the Evangelization ministries
in surrounding parishes.

The Facilities Management Ministry
The Facilities Management Ministry is responsible for all
matters dealing with the physical property of the parish including
real estate, buildings, contents, exterior enhancements, insurance
and management of a master facilities long-range program. This
Ministry is also responsible for planning and design activities,
obtaining permits and contract project management for major
maintenance, renovation and new construction projects.
