Confirmation prep classes meet on Monday nights from 6:30-7:45 pm. Confirmation preparation is a two year process and participation in religious education in the year prior to Confirmation preparation is expected. That is, in order to prepare for Confirmation in their 8th grade year, young people must also participate in religious education in 7th grade.

The Confirmation Program begins with an orientation meeting for parents and candidates on September 23, 2009; classes begin on Monday, September 28, 2009. There is a Confirmation fee of $80 (helps cover cost of retreat, bus transportation, additional Confirmation materials, etc.), in addition to the RE registration fee.

• September 23, 2009 (Wednesday) – First Candidate/Parent Meeting (7:30 p.m. Parish Center)



• September 28, 2009 (Monday) – Confirmation Classes begin (6:30-7:45 p.m. Parish Center)



• October 26, 2009 (Monday) – Sponsor Forms Due



• November 10, 2009 (Tuesday) – NET Retreat in the Parish Center (5:00-8:00 p.m.); No Class on November 9, 2009



• January 11, 2010 (Monday) – Confirmation Name Forms & Saint Report Due



• February 10, 2010 (Wednesday) – Second Candidate/Parent's Meeting (7:30 p.m. Parish Center)



• February 22, 2010 (Monday) – Letter to the Bishop requesting Confirmation Due



• March 13, 2010 (Saturday) – Confirmation Retreat (Details to be announced)



• March 22, 2010 (Monday) – Service Essay Due



• April 19, 2010 (Monday) – Faith Sharing Checklist Due



• Confirmation Date – Monday, May 17, 2010, 7:00 p.m.
