Advent and christmas

• Spirit Tree gift card project
  From November 16-December 8 in the Gathering Space, buy a gift card for a needy family at the Pope Francis Outreach Center at Assumption Parish or served by the New Neighbors Interfaith Alliance.

• Christmas Tree sales
  From November 30-December 15 in front of the church, purchase fresh Christmas trees and wreaths in support of this annual parish fundraiser. Volunteer for a sales shift. 

• Advent wreath candle lighting 
  Individuals, couples, and families are invited to light the Advent Wreath at a weekend Mass during Advent. The signup sheet is in the Gathering Space. 

• Small group 
  At 9:45 am on November 29, December 6, 13, and 20 in the Kuehner Room, take part in a small group reflection based on Living Compass’ booklet, “Practicing Peace with All Your Heart, Soul, Strength and Mind.” 

• Alternative Christmas gifts 
  On December 7/8 and 14/15 in the Gathering Space, support mission-driven work by donating to assist various entities recommended by parishioners.  

• Christmas Card Sale 
  On December 7/8 and 14/15 in the Gathering Space, purchase Christmas cards after the 5 pm Vigil Mass and the Sunday Masses at 8 am, 9:30 am and 11:15 am. Proceeds will benefit Right to Life of Montgomery County. To help with card sales, contact Respect Life Ministry Coordinator Rose Attig. 

• Advent penance service
  7 pm December 16 in the church. Come receive forgiveness this liturgical season.

• Morning Prayer at 7:30 am every day. Hosted by a member of the Liturgy of the Hours Ministry.
• Evening Prayer at 7:30 pm every day. Hosted by a member of the Liturgy of the Hours Ministry.
• Parish Rosary at 4 pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Led by Fr. John Dillon. 
• Rosary in Spanish at 6:30 pm every Wednesday. Led by Deacon Will Garcia.
